Brandon Valley High School Chorus

*Open to students 10-12 by audition

Each choir is a full-year, M-F course offering, and singers receive 1 Fine Art credit.

The choirs perform at 3 school concerts, plus the SD Region 2 Group Contest.

Over the years, the Concert Choir has also performed with the SD Symphony, the Augustana University Choir, and for the SD State Music Educator's in-service.

Rehearses 1 early morning each week.

Performs at concerts, contest, and for other invited appearances around the community.

*Open to all students 9-12

*Audition to be one of BV's 20 singers at South Dakota All-State Chorus, an annual event with 950 voices from high schools all around the state.

*Audition for state, regional, and national Honor Choirs sponsored by the American Choral Directors Association. Participate in the SD Region 2 Solo & Ensemble Contest.

*Travel & Perform with the choir in Florida.

2021-2022 All-State Chorus Members

The choir traveled to Florida in June and performed at Walt Disney World and Ron Jon Surf Shop.
