2025 Driver’s Education courses will be live on January 22 at 10:00am

Students must at least 14 years of age before the 1st day of class. No exceptions. Only students of the Brandon Valley School District are eligible to sign up.

Registration fills very quickly and limited spots are available each session! Registration is first come, first served.

Class schedules: 30-Hour Classroom Session Dates and Times
  • Dates and Times are for current year, 2025, only.
  • Session A: February 5 - March 20, 2025, Weekdays, 6:45AM-7:45AM *No class on no-school days* SOLD OUT
  • Session B: March 26 - April 11, 2025, Weekdays, 3:30PM-6:00PM *No class on no-school days* SOLD OUT
  • Session C: March 31 - April 11, 2025, Weekdays, 3:30PM-6:30PM *No class on no-school days* SOLD OUT
  • Session D: May 27-28, June 2-4, 2025, Weekdays, 8:00AM-12:00PM, AND 1:00-3:00PM SOLD OUT
  • Session E: June 2 - June 13, 2025, Weekdays, 8:00AM-11:00AM SOLD OUT
  • Session F: June 2 - June 13, 2025, Weekdays, 8:00AM-11:00AM SOLD OUT
  • Session G: June 16 - 27, 2025, Weekdays, 8:00AM-11:00AM SOLD OUT

For sessions during the school year, there will be no class on “No School” days. In regards to weather, morning classes will be rescheduled in the event of a 2-hour late start, and afternoon sessions will be rescheduled in the event of an early release.

Class requirements: 30 hours of attendance, must attend all classes, and get an 80% in the class to pass.

Students are not required to hold their Instruction Permit before class. However, it's suggested that they apply shortly after completing the In Classroom portion of the course so students can practice driving with a parent/legal guardian and apply their learning right away!

  • Driving Requirements:
    • 6 hours driving / 6 hours as a passenger with a drivers ed instructor
    • 20 hours of practice driving with a licensed adult to pass BV Drivers Ed
    • 50 hours of practice driving with an adult licensed driver to pass the DMV driving requirements
      • BV practice hours count towards this 50 hours
