Mark Moeller

Mark graduated in 1986 from Brandon Valley High School.

As an offensive lineman on the football team, Mark was a three-year letter winner and helped pave the way for the Lynx to win back-to-back state 11A championships in 1984 and 1985.  He was selected as Honorable Mention All-Conference, All-State, and Elite 45 after his senior year.

As a three-year letter winner on the Lynx Track and Field team, Mark placed in the discus throw in his junior and senior seasons, finishing sixth his junior year and runner-up as a senior.  His efforts helped propel the Lynx to state championships in 1985 and 1986.

Mark also lettered three years on the basketball team where he was a starter his junior and senior seasons and was selected to the All-Conference team as a senior.  He went on to USD and started on the offensive line his last two years.

Mark's treasured Lynx memories include playing for four State Championship teams, being a part of South Dakota's first ever 11-man back-to-back football champions, being apart of an all BV one-two finish in the discus at the State Meet, and watching Coach Paul Johnson strut around like a proud papa.
