Bryson McHardy

Bryson graduated in 1970 from Brandon Valley High School.

As a three-year letter winner on the football team, Bryson helped the Lynx to a Big 8 Conference championship in the fall of 1969.

He left his most impressive marks with the track and field team as a four year letterman.  He qualified for the state meet as an individual and as part of relay teams in his junior and senior seasons.  He was a three-time medalist as a senior, placing third in the 880 yard relay and the 440-yard dash along with State Champion in the 120-yard high hurdles.  During his career, he set school records in the high hurdles, low hurdles, and long jump.

After graduation, Bryson attended the University of Missouri at Columbia on a full track scholarship.  His team earned a Drake Relay Medley Championship in 1974.

Bryson graduated from the University of Missouri and went on to earn his M.D. degree at the University of South Dakota in 1978.
