Shelly Allen-Lozano

Shelly graduated in 1980 from Brandon Valley High School.

Girls basketball became a S.D.H.S.A.A. recognized sport when Shelly was an eighth grader.  She made the most of the new opportunity by becoming a five-year letter winner.  She set 13 of 24 school records and led the Lady Lynx to three State Tournament appearances.  She garnered many accolades, including being named All-Conference four times, third-team All-State once and first-team All-State twice.

Shelly went on to be a four-year starter at Augustana College, where she set three school records.  She is also a member of the Augustana College Athletic Hall of Fame. 

Shelly continues to be involved in basketball as a teacher and coach.
