David Larsen

David graduated in 1979 from Brandon Valley High School.

David was a four-year letter winner on the football team where his specialty was defense.  During his career he set school records for solo tackles, assisted tackles, and quarterback sacks.  He was voted team captain and All-Conference three times each and was named to every All-State team after his junior and senior seasons.

His wrestling career included two varsity letters, a school record for fastest pin in 11 seconds, and qualifying for the State Meet as a junior.

David’s track and field accomplishments include being a four-time letter winner and earning three state meet places in the discus throw.  He was third as a sophomore and state champion as a junior and senior.  He set records at Dan Lennon, Howard Wood Relays, and many other meets.  After recording the third best throw in the nation, he competed in National Invitational meets in Atlanta and Chicago.
