Dr. John M. Hermanson

Dr. John Hermanson was named the second inductee into the Brandon Valley High School Athletic Hall of Fame in 1985.
 

Dr. Hermanson practiced medicine in Valley Springs and was a tireless contributor to the School District.

For more than 30 years, John was actively involved with both students and adults in the school district, giving hundreds of physicals to athletes, boys and girls state participants, Legion baseball players and school bus drivers.

He was nearly always in attendance at Brandon, Valley Springs, and Brandon Valley sporting events, serving as team physician. He diagnosed and treated injuries – making vital decisions in emergency situations.
