Eric “Moose” Halseth

Eric graduated in 1985 from Brandon Valley High School.

Starting in the eighth grade, under the guidance of Coach Denny Halseth, Eric was a fixture as a team manager for football.  He was the lead manager for the varsity football team for ten years.  He lettered all four years of high school in his position.  His love of the sport and passion for the job kept him providing this service many years after graduation.  He was the manager on the first State Championship team in 1984 and managed for a total of five State Championship teams over his career.  Two of those teams have been inducted into the Brandon Valley Athletic Hall of Fame.

“Moose” was well known in the community as a #1 fan who supported all Lynx teams and was always in attendance.  He gave much time and great enthusiasm to Lynx athletics.

Eric’s favorite memories include the time on the field with his father and brother and the relationships formed with all people associated with Lynx athletics.
