Neoma was involved in athletics at Brandon Valley High School for well over half of her life – mostly in the capacity of the Lynx #1 fan.

She taught Business Education at the high school for 30 years and rarely missed an athletic or fine arts event before health issues sidelined her.  While teaching, she would invite entire teams over for a meal or would treat them to some of her baked delicacies.  Later in her life, it was Neoma being treated to snacks and being invited to share a meal with one of the teams that she supported.

Neoma was inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame for her unparalled dedication to the students and staff at Brandon Valley High School.  Her voice and her infectious laugh could be heard from the bleachers offering encouragement to players and coaches alike.

Neoma was very often the first person at an event and most times the last to leave.
