Ivan Else
Ivan was born and raised in Valley Springs, SD where he attended school and graduated from Valley Springs High School in 1936.  He was as loyal a VSHS Wolverine and later BVHS Lynx as there ever was.

Ivan had a very distinguished athletic and extra-curricular career as a basketball and softball player and livestock judge.  His accomplishments were recognized by the Superintendent of Schools and School Board with the presentation of a high school commendation.

Having nine children of his own, Ivan was very involved in the coaching of Brandon and Valley Springs athletes in baseball, basketball and volleyball.

Ivan was inducted into this Hall of Fame for what he was known best for - "Drivin' Ivan" for thirty-five years of bus driving for activities.  He drove thousands of athletes, coaches, and fans to thousands of games, matches, and fine arts competitions.  Ivan had a sincere passion for athletics and enjoyed watching kids compete at all levels.  When he was not on the road with a group he could be seen at every home event.
