Lori Dather

Lori graduated in 1983 from Brandon Valley High School.

As a three-sport athlete, Lori earned a total of nine varsity letters – two in volleyball, three in basketball, and four in track and field.

On the basketball court, Lori was a standout performer.  She set the school record for rebounds in a game with 19 and finished in the top three in career scoring.  She garnered outside recognition as a two-time All-Conference selection and as an All-Stater her senior year.

Lori was a versatile track and field athlete.  She was a hurdler who held the second best time at BVHS and won a Big 8 Conference championship in that event. In the field portion, she was a standout discus thrower, where she set the school record and was the Howard Wood Dakota Relays champion.

Lori was involved in Pep Club and Honor Society in addition to her participation on three sport teams.  She went on to play basketball at Southwest State University and South Dakota State University.
